EVA Air issues its first Hello Kitty gold foil boarding pass

EVA Air launched the “Hello Kitty Jet Collection: Gold Edition” collectible card redemption campaign on February 1 this year. In just 88 days, the very first winner of the Hello Kitty gold foil boarding pass was a loyal passenger traveling from the U.S. EVA Air stated that flying all seven Hello Kitty routes is no easy feat, especially as one of the seven must be a “surprise destination,” which is an unpredictable, non-fixed city. It was originally estimated that the first winner would emerge in the second half of the year, but to everyone’s surprise, Mr. Wei achieved the goal in just 88 days. The airline believes that in the coming months, more passengers will surely earn their gold foil boarding passes.

The campaign will run until January 31, 2013. Whether it’s an individual ticket, group ticket, or EVA Holidays product purchased from EVA Air departing from Taiwan, participants can redeem a range of exclusive dream gifts — including the “Hello Kitty Passport Holder,” “Hello Kitty Bookmarks 5-Piece Set + Memo Pad,” “Hello Kitty Leather Luggage Tag Set,” “Hello Kitty Selected Document Holder,” and “Hello Kitty Sleep Trio Set” — simply by presenting the original boarding pass from any Hello Kitty painted aircraft route taken before January 31, 2013, during the campaign period based on eligible flight segments.
