Travel Center / General Report
Taipei’s Taihsi The Westin will launch the “Food Craving: Guizhou Cuisine Feast” from September 29 to October 31. For this event, Chef Rao Weisong from Guiyang Renaissance Hotel and Master Li Xianyang, an expert in cold dish development, have been specially invited to guest chef at the hotel’s The Lounge Chinese Restaurant. Over 20 authentic Guizhou dishes will be offered, with à la carte prices ranging from NT$280 to NT$1,380.
Among the over 20 authentic Guizhou dishes, highlights include the flavorful “Spicy Crispy Ear,” a must-try for foodies “Xifeng Yanglang Chicken,” the spicy and bold “Premium Boiled Shrimp Balls,” and the artfully braised “Steamed Chicken in Sweat Pot.” These dishes blend spicy, fragrant, salty, and pungent flavors. During the event period, diners at The Lounge Chinese Restaurant will have the chance to win a three-day-two-night luxury room stay voucher at Guiyang Renaissance Hotel.
