Free admission to performances at the "Summer Night Stroll in Xinbeitou" special exhibition

Since the start of summer, temperatures in Taipei City have repeatedly hit new highs, making evening outings a new favorite among residents. The "Summer Night Stroll in Xinbeitou" series of events, organized by the Taipei City Department of Information and Tourism, will extend the opening hours of Meiting, the Ketagalan Cultural Center, and the Beitou Hot Spring Museum to 8:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday. Not only are the visits free, but during the event period, each venue will also host special art exhibitions such as the Yu Youren Art and Culture Exhibition, as well as shamisen performances. Additionally, from 5:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday, the first 50 visitors who fill out a questionnaire at each venue will receive a special souvenir, and those who collect enough visit stamps can enter a lottery to win hot spring bath vouchers at local hotels.

The "Summer Night Stroll in Xinbeitou" series of events runs from now until September 30. Meiting, the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, and the Ketagalan Cultural Center offer free admission and extend their opening hours to 8:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. During the event period, each venue will also host various art and cultural exhibitions and performances, including the "Elegance of Calligraphy – Commemorating the 134th Anniversary of Yu Youren’s Death" and the "Japanese Tsugaru Shamisen VS Chen Mingzhang’s Beitou Moon Guitar Ensemble." Furthermore, starting at 5:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday, the first 50 visitors to each venue who complete a questionnaire will receive a special souvenir from that venue. Those who collect all visit stamps can exchange them for raffle tickets and have the chance to win hot spring bath vouchers from local hotels such as the Kagaya, Lishii, Spring Hotel, Aquatonic, and Shuimei Hot Spring Resorts in the Beitou area.
