Explore Living Treasures at Night with Discounts at Shoushan Zoo

On summer nights when the heat subsides, many cultural venues and parks extend their opening hours or launch events and promotions to attract evening visitors. Kaohsiung’s Shoushan Zoo has extended its opening hours to 21:00 every Saturday and Sunday starting now, and offers “Starlight Tickets” at half price, with children under 12 admitted free of charge. During the event period, the zoo is also hosting Adventure Time and talent performance competitions, allowing families to enjoy nighttime outings together.

The “Who Leads the Summer Adventure in Adventure Time?” series of events runs from now until August 31. All children entering the zoo can pick up a limited-edition event participation form at the service desk at the entrance, search the park for animal behavior signs with fun facts, and find cartoon characters from Adventure Time such as the goofy Finn, the cool Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and Marceline. With correct answers, they can exchange them at the service desk for a DIY Adventure Time emoji signboard, and lucky winners will also be drawn to receive exclusive Adventure Time gifts.

Tomorrow (21st) at 19:00, a kindergarten talent show competition will be held in the park. In addition to enjoying the wonderful performances by the kids, visitors can also cool off at the water plaza in the evening. Furthermore, those who present their Shoushan Zoo tickets within the designated period can enjoy discounts on admission or purchases at places such as the Chengcing Lake Scenic Area, Chengcing Lake Ocean Wonderland, Wild & Fun World, and Riverside Dining Group.
