The tourism market is highly competitive, and highlighting local characteristics has become a key focus for regional authorities. The Kinmen County Government, together with Kinmen National Park, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Inc., Kinmen Ceramics Factory, and various private businesses in catering, specialty products, and travel, plans to launch 'premium journeys' in September. In addition to Kinmen’s must-visit attractions, the package offers customizable sightseeing options, traditional Kinmen cuisine, experiences with unique local souvenirs, and the chance to stay overnight in historic houses under starry skies—providing visitors with a truly one-of-a-kind travel experience.

This premium journey emphasizes customization and localization. Customized sightseeing includes stops at Shishan Artillery Site, Kinmen Liquor Factory, an electric cart tour of Kinmen’s Kinmen Head area, the island’s only official kiln, and a tunnel music experience—allowing visitors to enjoy the nation’s only military-style welcome ceremony where guests are greeted with full military honors. They can also visit the distillery to explore the sorghum liquor cellars and enjoy wine tasting. Additionally, visitors may purchase liquor to store in the 'wine bank' or create a custom-themed liquor. Moreover, the Kinmen Head electric cart tour will take guests to the country’s only open military broadcasting wall to try voice amplification broadcasts and make personalized video DVDs. The tour also includes a stop at Kinmen’s only official kiln, where visitors can DIY their own liquor bottles at the ceramics workshop. These bottles are then taken to the distillery for bottling and mailed directly to the guests.

For customized souvenirs, visitors will be taken to visitor-friendly factories to craft Kinmen specialties—such as Kinmen artillery shell steel knives or peanut candy. For food customization, options include a military rations experience featuring canned noodle stir-fries, instant noodle stir-fries, and taro-flavored meat, or signature dishes themed around traditional Kinmen flavors and modern tastes, such as stuffed mackerel dishes and sorghum-based cuisine.
