Since its launch, over a thousand people have joined the event, with user-submitted ideas including the most popular “Gangnam Style” horse dance while soaking or enjoying hot pot in the bath. These unconventional methods could set a new trend at the resort’s brand-new open-air hot spring, opening on October 10.

Yangmingshan Tien Lai Resort stated that most hot spring hotels tend to emphasize Japanese style or Zen aesthetics, with some urban hot spring spots offering views of nothing but roads or walls while you soak. Now, Tien Lai has created a brand-new open-air hot spring space, designed with concepts from renowned Japanese architect Shigeru Takamatsu, resulting in a stylish and design-forward bathing environment. The lush green mountain ridges of Yangmingshan paired with the layered lattice design of the new hot spring create a naturally aesthetic experience, setting a fashionable new trend in hot spring soaking. To celebrate its 15th anniversary, the resort is running a special fan appreciation event. Simply like Tien Lai’s Facebook page and share your most KUSO hot spring idea.
