A wide selection of Chinese and Western cuisines awaits at the Macau Food Festival, kicking off on November 9

Traveling abroad and sampling local delicacies is one of the most anticipated parts of any trip, and being able to join in local festivals makes it an even more valuable experience. Travelers planning a trip to Macau in November can visit the Sai Van Lake Square from November 9 to 25 to take part in the annual Macau Food Festival. They can explore multiple food streets, including Chinese cuisine, Asian cuisine, European cuisine, specialty food streets, and dessert streets, while enjoying performances by pop singers and bands, as well as theme nights that create a joyful food carnival.

This year’s food festival, themed “Endless Fun, A Gastronomic Carnival,” features a variety of large-scale performances during the event period, including theme nights, beer drinking contests, prize games, song and dance performances, ethnic cultural shows, pop singer and band concerts, magic shows, and clown acts. There is also a game area at the lower level of Sai Van Lake, with numerous entertaining and challenging booths offering a wealth of prizes, allowing visitors to not only savor global cuisines but also have a great time.

To make it easier for visitors to get there, free shuttle buses operate between Sai Van Lake Square and various districts in Macau. The food festival is open from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Mondays to Thursdays, and from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM on Fridays to Sundays.
