Visa-Free Travel Begins – Industry Launches Hawaii Nov. 1 Inaugural Tour Promotion

To mark the official start of the U.S. visa-free travel policy on November 1 this year, the Hawaii Tourism Authority has collaborated with industry partners to launch an inaugural tour on November 1 – “Romantic Blue Hawaii Seven-Day Holiday,” priced at NT$68,900 per person including tax and gratuity, with an additional NT$10,000 discount for the second traveler. Please note that the U.S. visa waiver application process takes three days, and this promotional tour is not yet eligible for the U.S. visa waiver program.

The “Romantic Blue Hawaii Seven-Day Holiday” itinerary includes city sightseeing in Honolulu, a drive around the Windward Coast, visits to historic landmarks such as Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head, and an exploration adventure at Kualoa Ranch, the filming location of Jurassic Park. The tour also features a canoe ride at the Polynesian Cultural Center, an IMAX 3D movie experience, and a steak and king crab dinner aboard the largest evening cruise ship in Hawaii – the Star of Honolulu. Optional activities can be added based on personal preference: snorkeling with dolphins with kids, enjoying a high-end spa massage, or combining whale watching, sightseeing, and golfing – all unique local experiences. Don’t forget to stroll to the duty-free shops to shop for the world’s most affordable Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen. For U.S. visa-free travel after November 1, travelers must apply via the “Electronic System for Travel Authorization” (ESTA) at www.ait.org.tw/en/visas.html.
