To celebrate the annual highlight of the travel industry—the Taipei International Travel Fair—various travel companies are launching attractive promotions to attract consumers. This time, Star Cruises is not only offering special reservation packages for Aquarius voyages departing from Taiwan in 2013, including Buy One Get One Free, 35% off the original price, and free third person during summer, but also starting a writing contest from today. Selected participants will receive a Buy One Get One Free offer for Star Cruises’ 2013 Aquarius voyage. Additionally, next year Star Cruises will introduce new 3-night, 4-day itineraries to Kinmen and Penghu, and the Friday departures for the Ishigaki routes (originally Wednesdays) will also be available, providing travelers with more choices.

In the 2013 Taiwan departure reservation promotion package offered by Star Cruises Aquarius this time, the Buy One Get One Free deal is limited to bookings of two or more people, with the second person in the same room free of charge. For a group of four in the same room, the first, third, and fourth persons pay the original price. The booking period is from October 25 to November 7. The 35% off the original price promotion allows each person in the same room to enjoy 35% off the original price, with an additional NT$300 food and beverage voucher per room per night. Bookings are open from October 25 to November 30. The first two promotions apply to departure dates from March 24 to October 25, 2013, excluding July 28 to August 25. As for the summer promotion offering a free third person, the first and second persons get 15% off the original price, the third person travels free, and the first 40 bookings are exempt from peak-season surcharges. Bookings are open from October 25 to December 31, applicable for departure dates from July 1 to August 31, 2013.

The writing contest, running from now until November 30, invites participants to write on a postcard or letter about who they would most like to share the joy of a Star Cruises ocean voyage with. They should include the names, phone numbers, addresses, emails, and a 200-word reason for sharing, along with their own and their intended recipient’s details, and mail to the designated address. Selected participants will be able toputgive their chosen recipients the opportunity to sign up for the Buy One Get One Free offer on Star Cruises’ 2013 Aquarius voyage.

Additionally, starting next year, the Aquarius will host themed party events from time to time to celebrate special festivals in different countries. For example, the Aquarius’ Swedish captain specially recommends the local classic Midsummer event, where guests may also have the chance to taste Nordic specialty foods. During the Dragon Boat Festival, Asian-style zongzi with Southeast Asian and Chinese flavors will be available on the Aquarius. For the Mid-Autumn Festival, passengers can experience lantern carrying, riddle guessing, and unique customs originating from Malay culture on the Aquarius, as well as taste uniquely flavored snow skin durian... and other festive activities that are quite distinctive.
