To promote Taiwan’s leisure agriculture and in-depth local travel, the Council of Agriculture has planned three major themed travel packages: Taiwan Farms hop-on-hop-off Free & Easy Tours, Foodie Journeys IN Taiwan, and Nature Travel Group Tours. A total of 69 itineraries will be unveiled at the Taipei International Travel Fair’s Taiwan Leisure Agriculture Pavilion on Friday (the 26th), among which Taiwan Farms hop-on-hop-off Free & Easy one-day tours are priced at just 499 TWD, while Foodie Journeys IN Taiwan also offer a buy one get one free promotion.

The three themed travel packages are expected to officially go on sale during the Taipei International Travel Fair from October 26–29. The Taiwan Farms hop-on-hop-off one-day tour package includes transportation, lunch, and insurance for just 499 TWD. For those traveling in pairs, accommodation costs can be reduced by up to 700 TWD. In addition, promotional activities such as gifts for reaching certain spending amounts, check-in giveaways, and the recruitment of Taiwan Farms hop-on-hop-off VIP members will be launched. To become a VIP member, simply purchase a single ticket worth 15,000 TWD or more to receive a VIP card. This card can be used as an EasyCard and comes with various exclusive benefits.

As for the Foodie Journeys IN Taiwan series, the public can enjoy a “two people travel, one person free” discount on one-day tours such as the Hsinchu Hsinpu Persimmon Drying Tour and Fishing Port Visit or the Yilan Countryside Farming Life Experience. The Nature Travel series offers discounts such as “five people travel together, one person free” for one-day tours and “four people travel together, fourth person gets 1,500 TWD off” for two-day tours. Additionally, the Council of Agriculture has introduced the Foodie Journey Bus, which provides free shuttle service between MRT Taipei City Hall Station and the World Trade Center during the exhibition period. The bus is equipped with over 10 types of food-shaped pillows, allowing visitors to learn more about Taiwan’s locally sourced quality ingredients.
