The Marigold Festival Combining Flower Viewing and Tribal Tours Kicks Off in Jinfeng in November

This year’s marigold festival series in Jinfeng Township, Taitung County, will take place from November 1 to 30. On November 17, at the Xinxing Community Cultural Park (at the foot of the Taiwu Golden Needle Mountain), the event will kick off with the “Guarding Eternal Memories – Thousand People Flower-Stabbing Photo Collection Campaign,” and on November 24, the “Connecting Hope Seeds – Thousand People Beading Guardianship Activity” will continue the theme at the Jialan Community Activity Center.

During the event period, five major themes are designed: “Story Performances,” “Exhibitions,” “Product Sales,” “Hands-on Experiences,” and “Carnival Activities,” paired with packaged tour itineraries to showcase the rich content of the decade-long marigold festival. Additionally, the organizers have arranged a series of travel packages, including: marigold festival challenge experiences, visits to the Pottery Street, Jialan Permanent Residences, hands-on craft making, listening to tribal chiefs tell stories, and tours of the Sabuyu Tribe. Moreover, visitors may also have the chance to participate in the Thousand People Flower-Stabbing, Thousand People Beading, and online flower-stabbing photo collection campaigns to win attractive prizes.

This year, the event is combined with the Taiwu Township Hot Spring Festival, offering activities such as soaking in hot springs and tasting marigold treats.
