High-Speed Rail Promotion: Win Big Prizes When Buying Tickets at Convenience Stores

From now until December 31, Taiwan High Speed Rail is running a lucky draw event called “Buy THSR Tickets at Convenience Stores – Million Dollar Prize Draw!” Just buy or collect your THSR tickets at any THSR-partnered convenience store, and before December 31, fill out the event’s raffle slip attached to your ticket with your contact information and drop it into the lucky draw box at any THSR station to participate. The number of prizes depends on the number of participants. Once the cumulative participation reaches one million, there will be up to 88 prizes, including a grand prize of NT$1 million in cash.

As the number of participants reaches specific milestones, additional prizes will be added. When the total number of participants hits one million, in addition to the grand prize of NT$1 million in cash, other prizes include a mountain bike worth over NT$160,000, one night’s stay for two at Taipei W Hotel, an LV carry-on suitcase, NT$100,000 in convenience store vouchers, as well as mechanical diving watches, laptops, and DSLR cameras. During the campaign period, THSR will announce the cumulative number of participants at station draw boxes and on the event website. Since February 2010, when THSR launched its convenience store ticketing service with FamilyMart, it has subsequently partnered with Uni-President Enterprises Corp., Hi-Life, and OK Mart.
