Starting in April, the National Palace Museum has introduced a new student discount program. Students with valid school ID from domestic educational institutions can enter the museum free of charge. This initiative aims to encourage more students to visit, develop their appreciation for art, and support the promotion of social education.

Students with a valid student ID from schools officially registered with the Ministry of Education can visit all exhibitions in the museum's main exhibition hall free of charge. Domestic students also receive a 50% discount on the personal audio guide rental. However, separate admission fees still apply for special exhibitions, which students must pay to enter. Students wishing to use this discount must collect a number at the service desk on the first floor of the main exhibition hall before entry.
