In addition, the open seating service (in cars 10, 11, and 12) will continue to be available during the Mother's Day transportation period; passengers holding periodical tickets, return tickets, or EasyCard co-branded cards can directly tap in and ride any train in open seating. THSR kindly advises passengers to reserve seats in advance and take advantage of the convenient ticket purchasing channels at THSR partner convenience stores (FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, Hi-Life, and OK Mart), as well as the quick and easy "T Express" mobile ticketing service. By collecting your tickets early, you can go straight to the platform upon arrival and save time queuing for tickets, while also avoiding crowds at the station.

 

During the transportation period, 364 services will be eligible for the “Early Bird Discount,” accounting for 63% of the total number of services over the four days. Passengers may enjoy Early Bird discounts of 65%, 80%, or 90% if they book their tickets 8 to 28 days before departure; quantities are limited, so the earlier you book, the better your chances.

 

Business Class limited upgrades, university student discount programs, graduation trip programs, and group ticket discounts for 30 or more passengers on specified services will be temporarily suspended.
