Free gondola rides and meals for moms on Mother’s Day in Kaohsiung

Have you planned how to celebrate the upcoming Mother’s Day yet? To celebrate moms on their special day, the Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau is launching a Mother’s Day promotion from May 10 to 12. Moms can enjoy free gondola rides along the Love River. E-DA World, Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung, and Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung are offering accommodation and dining deals. Among them, E-DA Skyline Hotel’s buffet restaurant offers free entry for moms when four or more people dine together, with moms dining for free. Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung Golden Hotel will host a Mother’s Day concert, allowing budget-conscious moms to enjoy the port city while saving money.

The Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau is offering a Mother’s Day promotion from May 10 to 12. The original gondola ticket package, which includes coffee, is 250 TWD per person. During the event, when children bring their moms for a two-person ride, they can enjoy the gondola, coffee, listen to folk singers perform, and receive a commemorative mug for mom—all for just 250 TWD. Only 108 sets are available. Starting now, tickets can be reserved by phone daily from 16:00 to 20:00.

 

E-DA World is offering special deals on May 11 and 12. At the Skyline Hotel’s buffet restaurant, when four or more people dine together, moms in the group eat for free, and each mom also receives a carnation. The Skyline Café is offering a Mother’s Day set meal at 1,000 TWD + 10%. For groups of three or more, moms in the party receive a 50% discount on this set. E-DA Crown Plaza Hotel has launched the “Mommy is Awesome” stay package, with a special rate of 7,688 TWD + 10% for double occupancy from May 3 to 12. The package includes one night in a scenic suite, buffet breakfast for two the next day, two E-DA Theme Park tickets, two exchange vouchers for E-DA Rhino’s home game tickets, and one “Embrace Youth” Mother’s Day cake. Additionally, E-DA World Shopping Mall is offering, from now until May 12, a free Russian Acrobatic Dinner Show ticket for every 3,000 TWD spent at any counter labeled “I Love Mommy.”

 

Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung’s Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine restaurants are not only offering Mother’s Day set meals, but also providing an 85% discount on meals for those dining with their moms in parent-child outfits from now until May 10, plus a free spring roll wrap for mom. Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung is offering a 6-person table menu for 5,280 TWD and a 10-person table menu for 8,800 TWD on May 12, including unlimited juice. Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung Golden Hotel will host a “Mother’s Day Warmth Concert” on May 11 from 19:30 to 21:00 and on May 12 from 13:30 to 15:00, featuring performances by Weng Liyou and Huang Siting, celebrating the occasion with moms.
