Jeongseon’s newest attraction: a 200-meter cliffside suspension bridge!

Both Japan and Korea are among Hong Kong people’s favorite travel destinations. In recent years, Korea has been adding new attractions to draw in more visitors. Today, we’re introducing one of the newest spots in Gangwon Province — the Wonju Sogwipsan Suspension Bridge!

The Sogwipsan Suspension Bridge spans 200 meters across a 100-meter-high cliff, making it the longest suspension bridge in all of Korea!

Previously, the Korean variety show “Infinite Challenge” even sent the severely acrophobic Yoo Jae-suk to clean the bridge, which further boosted its popularity. Since its opening in mid-January, it has attracted nearly 100,000 visitors!

As a photography-focused website, we naturally have to highlight the great photo ops here too. From the Sogwipsan Suspension Bridge, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Cham River, Wonju City, and the Yangdong area of Gyeonggi Province, with a stream running below.Entry is free for the first year, so if you’re planning to go, don’t miss your chance!

Transport: Take bus no. 58 from KTX Gangneung Line’s Manjong Station (고속버스터미널) or Wonju Express Bus Terminal to Wollun Station (월운), then walk about 20 minutes.
