RobotKitty Future Park Officially Opens on July 12

Summer vacation is here, and besides going to the beach or watching movies, there’s also the “Robot Kitty Future Park – Mechanical Kitty Smile Tech Interactive Exhibition,” which will make its debut on July 12 at the Second and Third Warehouses of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park ! Unlike traditional static exhibitions, Robot Kitty Future Park pioneers a theme park combined with interactive experiences. Using cutting-edge interactive technology, it brings visitors up close and personal, making them feel like engineers developing Robot Kitty. It offers an unprecedented exhibition experience full of fun, adding even more cuteness to your summer this year !

The event will follow the storyline of assisting Dr. Kitty da Vinci in developing Robot Kitty, allowing participants to feel like Robot Kitty R&D engineers training at the high-tech Sanrio Robotics Institute (S.R.I.). Visitors can complete designated tasks in game stages by following training programs from five departments—Design, Parts, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Energy—using either the Robot Kitty plush ticket or the interactive chip card from the interactive ticket. Those who purchase the plush ticket can also earn K-coins and experience points during training to exchange for exclusive accessories for their plush, creating their very own custom Robot Kitty !

The Robot Kitty exhibition has been held in places like Hong Kong and Japan, causing a sensation wherever it went. This time in Taipei, it’s a full-scale recreation, almost as if the S.R.I. Institute has been built right inside Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. Across the expansive 700+ ping area, visitors can explore various themed settings and enjoy the thrill and novelty of navigating a maze-like exhibition route ! In addition to Robot Kitty, other famous Sanrio characters will also make appearances throughout the institute, each managing their own department and performing their unique roles. Life-sized versions of My Melody, Kuromi, Bad Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, Monkichi, and Mimmy will be waiting at the venue to take photos with visitors.

To celebrate this grand event, in addition to the exclusive first-time display of Robot Kitty character design drafts and scene sketches directly from the Japanese Sanrio headquarters, the organizers have also collaborated with the Taiwan Illustrators’ Association and the Fandora creative community. They’ve invited talented designers to join in the inaugural Taiwan exhibition using their brushes. The exhibition features works from Taiwanese cultural designers such as Xiao Qingyang, Fujiyoshi Ryo, Feng Yu, Yang Shengzhi, Big Berry Sheep, Hsin Kamic, Lightning Kid – Huang Xiweng, BO2, Prince Noodles, Nan Jun, Luo Huifu, and creations by the Child Welfare League and children from the Home Care Foundation. Designers from the Hong Kong brand Husky x3, including Kevin, as well as celebrities like Annabelle Hsu and Yvonne Yao, have also participated. These specially designed versions by the designers include ones clad in armor as Japanese samurai, others holding syringes as angels in white, and even an Iron Kitty fused with Iron Man—each with a bold, eye-catching personality that showcases an explosion of creative energy, guaranteed to amaze !

 

Tickets for the exhibition are available in three types: Plush Ticket, Interactive Ticket, and General Admission. The Plush Ticket includes one Robot Kitty game plush with an interactive chip and one admission ticket, priced at NT$2000 for adults and NT$1800 for concessions. The Interactive Ticket includes one venue-exclusive lanyard, one interactive chip rental, and one admission ticket, priced at NT$660 for adults and NT$580 for concessions.
