Ouch, that’s a hit to the wallet again!* Limited-edition cherry blossom cups launched by Japan Starbucks for sakura season

Collectors, get ready to empty your wallets once more!* With cherry blossom season around the corner, Japan Starbucks has once again rolled out limited-edition “cherry blossom cups” this year. Featuring two series totaling 33 designs, they’ll go on sale starting February 15th!* There are also two cherry blossom season-exclusive drinks, available at all Japan Starbucks locations from February 15th as well.

This year’s cherry blossom season limited-edition cups from Japan Starbucks come in two series: Harmony and Purity. The “Harmony” series, inspired by the gorgeous image of blooming cherry blossoms, features 17 different designs ranging from mugs to insulated tumblers. There are also exclusive cherry blossom-themed carry cards, all going on sale starting February 15th.

The “Purity” series takes a soft and elegant aesthetic as its main theme, offering 16 different cup designs. It also includes cherry blossom carry cards that match the design concept of the series, available for purchase in Japan starting March 1st.

As per tradition, Japan Starbucks will also launch seasonal limited-time drinks. This year’s cherry blossom season offerings are the Sakura Cream Latte and Sakura Cream Frappuccino. Echoing the pink and white hues of cherry blossoms, the Sakura Cream Frappuccino features a romantic pink-and-white gradient. Meanwhile, the hot Sakura Latte comes in a light pink sakura-shaped takeaway cup, allowing travelers to enjoy their drink while taking in the romantic sea of cherry blossoms.
