UK Eco-Friendly Holiday Cabins: Sleep While Loving the Earth

Located on the border of England and Wales, Shropshire’s Ludlow can be reached by train from London in about four hours. It boasts beautiful landscapes and ancient castles, and Annie's Cabin is a local eco-friendly holiday home.

Designed and built by the male host George and his architect friend, it took nearly two years to complete this low-carbon, eco-friendly countryside cabin. The interior includes a double bedroom, an open kitchen, a dining area, and a living room, accommodating 4 to 6 people. Speaking about the concept and ideas before construction, George said he simply hoped to achieve a small carbon reduction goal through eco-friendly materials and make holidays more relaxing and fun. In Shropshire, you can not only relax and enjoy local cuisine but also go hiking, cycling, visit museums, or explore ancient castles. George recommends staying here for at least four days to a week, saying, “It's a fantastic area to stay.”
