The Yellow Rubber Duck exhibition in Kaohsiung has sparked a duck-watching craze across Taiwan, attracting 1.67 million visitors as of October 2. Online discussions and photo sharing have also been bustling. The Facebook page "Kaohsiung Incredible" recently called on netizens to submit photos of the yellow duck. After being selected by the Facebook event team along with photography and aesthetic experts, five photo collections have now been published on Facebook. These include couples kissing by the duck as a testament to their love, reflections of the duck by the harbor, and a duck wearing a crown.

The heartwarming Yellow Rubber Duck exhibition in Kaohsiung has become extremely popular. Excluding one day off due to Typhoon Usagi, from the Mid-Autumn Festival on September 19 to October 2, the duck has attracted 1.67 million visitors in nearly half a month. It is expected to surpass 2 million visitors this Saturday and Sunday. According to Lai Ruilong, Director of the city's Information Bureau, the "Kaohsiung Incredible" Facebook page, which currently has nearly 100,000 followers, helped promote the event. On September 25, the page called for netizens to submit their favorite photos of the yellow duck, aiming to showcase its different charms and fun through creative submissions. Over 250 excellent photos have been collected so far, and the collection is still ongoing.

Among the many entries, the photo "Night Duck" by netizen "Wild Bento," showing the duck’s reflection by the harbor, is currently the most popular. The photo "Yellow Duck Witnesses Love – A Couple’s Kiss" by netizen "Kaohsiunger Lu Zhixian," which boldly showcases affection, has also received an overwhelming response and is the second most popular among the published photos. Additionally, some netizens have used creative angles and the surrounding buildings at Glory Pier to make it appear as if the yellow duck is wearing a crown, adding a lot of fun.

Lai Ruilong pointed out that some netizens had previously expressed interest in collecting Yellow Rubber Duck commemorative stamps. After discussions with the exhibition team, a "Yellow Rubber Duck Commemorative Stamp" service is expected to launch this Saturday (October 5). Visitors who wish to participate can visit the service desk near Haian Road and Youth Road, where five stamps will be available for stamping as souvenirs.
