Recently, inflatable art installations have become a trend in Taiwan. Whether it’s the inflatable yellow duck or the inflatable whale pavilion, they’ve sparked quite a bit of buzz domestically. Japan has also recently unveiled a uniquely shaped, 36-meter-long, 30-meter-wide, 18-meter-high "inflatable concert hall." It takes only about two hours to fully inflate the entire venue, which can accommodate up to 500 people. When it needs to be moved, simply deflate it and a single truck can easily transport it to the next location.

With an exterior that looks like a purple jelly and an interior that resembles a glowing shell, the world’s first inflatable concert hall, "Ark Nova," combines "Ark" meaning "ark" and "Nova" meaning "new." This inflatable concert hall is like Noah’s Ark after a flood, and will host a touring music festival in Japan’s 311 earthquake disaster zones. The festival includes art exhibitions, symphonies, jazz, and other cultural performances over a three-year period. Through music and various activities, it aims to convey positive energy, hope, and encouragement to the people in the disaster areas. Currently, Ark Nova is stationed in Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, with the next venue to be announced by the relevant authorities.
