The Taipei City Government has been organizing this international competition since 2011 to encourage creators in Taipei’s digital content industry to produce innovative, international, and marketable digital content products. The goal is to establish Taipei as a design capital for the digital content industry, promote continuous improvement in creative quality and the development of market-ready works, and revitalize the growth of the digital content industry. This year marks the third edition of the Taipei International Digital Content Design Competition, which saw participation from 45 countries with over a thousand entries, and 74 works were selected as winners.

The 《Taipei Travel Guide 台北终极导览》, which won the Silver Award in the Mobile Value-Added Application Creation category and the Special Award from TransAsia Airways, is a brand-new travel guide that combines the rich content of 《Taipei Complete Domination》 with the features of portable mobile devices. It elevates content from mere reading to a level of service and application. The 《Taipei Travel Guide 台北终极导览》 includes over a thousand image and text entries on attractions across the Greater Taipei area, covering highlights in both Taipei City and New Taipei City.
