Pingtung’s first-ever Lantern Festival officially lit up on January 24, drawing many visitors to admire the dazzling displays along the WanNian River. Among the 17 light zones, the“Blue and White Rose Sea + LOVE Lettering”installation unexpectedly became a must-visit hotspot, with tourists flocking to witness the romantic charm of this art piece.

The blue and white rose light sea is located in a small area next to the parking lot opposite the Pingtung Night Market. Under the glow of the lights, the LOVE lettering becomes even more prominent, and the addition of elk-shaped light decorations makes the scene both fun and cute while retaining its romantic ambiance. However,the organizers remind visitors that although there is no strict rule against stepping into the installation for photos, it is recommended to take pictures from the side. This is both to protect the artwork itself and to ensure visitor safety.

With the light show in full swing, Pingtung’s nights have become even more dazzling. In response to the enthusiastic participation of visitors,the Lantern Festival, originally scheduled to end on February 12, is now expected to run until the 15th,though the light show portion will still conclude on the originally planned date of the 12th.
