But recently, the term "hipster" in Taiwan has become a trend and a movement many follow, with people flocking to the places they frequent or are known to visit. DailyView’s Web Temperature Meter conducted a survey on hipster pilgrimage sites loved by both netizens and hipsters using the "KEYPO Big Data Key Engine," ranking the top ten most discussed and hottest must-visit spots.

The top three most discussed and hottest must-visit spots among netizens are Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, and Dadaocheng. It’s no surprise that Huashan and Songshan take the top two spots due to their art, cultural creativity, markets, and continuous exhibitions. As for third-place Dadaocheng, it has been undergoing constant transformation lately, with old buildings being turned into restaurants, craft workshops, specialty bars, and cafes. The clash and coexistence of old and new culture make it a place many netizens say is perfect for hipsters.

However, Shiding Thousand Island Lake, a natural landscape, not only made the list but ranked 4th—ahead of Minsheng Community/Fujin Street, the trendy A7 Container Market, Spot Taipei, and Eslite Bookstore. This is quite surprising. It turns out the 2012 idol drama "Gentle Mercy" became a huge hit, and Dcard’s travel section recommended it as one of the must-visit photography spots for hipsters.
