2014 Purple Shine Yida New Year’s Eve Gala Featuring Elva Hsiao as Closing Act to Ring in the New Year

As 2013 gradually comes to an end, Yida World is offering a major year-end thank-you event, launching the first wave with the Crazy Anniversary Sale at Yida World Outlet Mall. On December 31st, the much-anticipated 2014 Purple Shine Yida New Year’s Eve Gala will take center stage as the grand finale, featuring an all-star lineup that includes everyone’s favorite “Electro Queen” Xie Jinyan. This year, the event has also specially invited the high-profile “Dance Queen” Elva Hsiao to serve as the countdown guest, paired with a spectacular fireworks show. Yida World Outlet Mall will also extend its operating hours until 23:00 that night, while food and beverage outlets will remain open until 1:30 AM on January 1, 2014, as everyone counts down together to welcome 2014.

This annual southern Taiwan New Year’s Eve highlight, the 2014 Purple Shine Yida New Year’s Eve Gala, will once again be co-hosted by Hu Gua and Golden Bell Award-winning actress Tian Xin. The “Electro Queen” Xie Jinyan and “Dance Queen” Elva Hsiao will electrify southern Taiwan with their dynamic performances. To complement the New Year’s Eve event, Yida World Outlet Mall is presenting its grand department store anniversary sale. From December 6 to January 12, 2014, during the anniversary period, customers who spend NT$5,000 or more in a single day will have a chance to win a presidential suite stay. Groups of budget-conscious shoppers who collectively spend over NT$1 million can also share a stay in the extra-large presidential suite. In celebration of the New Year, the shopping mall will extend its business hours on December 31, with the entire mall open from 11:00 to 23:00, food and beverage outlets staying open until 1:30 AM on January 1, 2014, and E-Da Cinemas operating until 3:00 AM on January 1, 2014.

 

From now until December 31, visitors from Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung counties/cities can enjoy a 30% discount on theme park tickets at Yida Amusement World by presenting proof of residency, bringing the price down to just NT$630 (original price NT$899). To celebrate the arrival of 2014 and take advantage of the popularity of the New Year’s Eve fireworks, the much-anticipated Yida Ferris Wheel New Year’s Eve cabins are now on hot sale. Since going on sale, they’ve been met with an enthusiastic response, with only one final New Year’s Eve cabin remaining. Priced at a dazzling NT$3,999, the cabin can accommodate up to 8 people and includes NT$400 worth of food and beverage vouchers for enjoying a New Year’s Eve set meal on the highest-altitude Ferris wheel in Taiwan. It also comes with a NT$1,720 merchandise gift bag, which additionally includes a random bonus of 10 theme park starlight tickets.
