1. Italy – Spiral Mary’s
Although nestled in a quiet alley near Zhongshan Station, Spiral Mary’s is often fully booked during meal times. The menu includes pasta, grilled dishes, Italian risotto, soups, drinks, and desserts, with main courses starting at NT$185. The signature dish is the “Shrimp and Chicken Pasta in Pink Sauce,” where the chef combines red and white sauces for a rich flavor. The shrimp are shelled for convenience, the chicken pieces are generous, and the al dente pasta is simply divine. The best part? Every main course comes with complimentary bread and dessert. For around NT$200, you can enjoy a full meal with amazing value for money.

2. India – 3 Idiots Toast & Curry
This restaurant was opened by Andy, an Indian owner from the Indo-Fusion eatery in the Guting shopping area. The name is inspired by the movie *3 Idiots*, and the restaurant features the three colorful chairs from the movie poster, which are quite eye-catching. The standout dishes are the hot-pressed toast and curry rice. Although all the dishes are vegetarian, the restaurant cleverly uses generous amounts of American-style cheese, blending it with authentic Indian flavors. The stretchy cheese paired with a variety of vegetables will make you forget you’re eating vegetarian.

Caliburger’s logo features two palm trees, symbolizing the classic California trait—Always Fresh. It’s touted as “the best burger in Taiwan”! The Taipei East Branch is operated by singer Fish Leong (Jolin Tsai) and her husband Tony, attracting many celebrity diners. For those who can’t decide what to order, don’t worry—the restaurant only offers four items: the Cali Classic Cheese Beef Burger, Classic Double Cheese Beef, Classic Avocado Chicken, and Mexican Spicy Chicken. Meals come with a drink and fries.
The most special feature is that Caliburger’s fries are freshly cut on-site and then drizzled with cheese sauce. Prices range from NT$275 to NT$345, and drinks are unlimited.

4. International Fusion - Left Bar Good Room 'Good Things'
Located in the alleys of Wenzhou Street near National Taiwan University, Left Bar Good Room 'Good Things', a sister shop to Greek Zorba specializing in Greek cuisine, offers an even more diverse menu. From brunch to lunch and dinner, it features a range of European dishes including Greek, British, French, Dutch, Spanish, and Mexican, using generous portions and fresh ingredients.

The signature dish “Quinoa-Q Grilled Mixed Stew” combines healthy quinoa with vegetables such as pumpkin and zucchini, along with chicken, all grilled in an iron pot and served with flatbread. For those tired of Italian or American cuisine, this place offers a refreshing change. The shop is filled with a rich cultural vibe, with many movie posters on the walls, and regularly hosts art events such as film screenings that appeal to fellow culture enthusiasts.
