Limited-time cherry blossom promotion in January only – round-trip shuttle from Taipei to Lishan for just 199 NTD!

Taiwan’s most popular Wuling Cherry Blossom Festival is set to officially kick off in mid-February. Some mountain cherry blossoms have already begun blooming, gradually painting the hills in captivating shades of pink and attracting early spring visitors. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Lishan Hotel, which has launched the “Memories 99” special package in January. From now until January 25, there are five daily spots available every day regardless of weekdays or weekends. The round-trip shuttle from Taipei Sightseeing Bus to Lishan costs just 199 NTD per person. Buses depart daily at 07:30 from Taipei Railway Station’s East Gate 3, passing through Jiaoxi, Yilan, then stopping at Wuling Farm for transfer to the Lishan Hotel. The return trip departs at 12:30 the next afternoon. This two-day-one-night itinerary requires staying at the Lishan Hotel, and you can freely visit Wuling Farm or Fushoushan Farm (shuttle fees and admission tickets are extra).

Lin Min-cheng, deputy general manager of the Lishan Hotel, said that since partnering with travel agencies last September to launch the Lishan Sightseeing Bus, it has provided another way to travel to Lishan. On weekdays, a round trip for one person used to cost 1,400 NTD. After six months of trial operation, it has gradually become more established and has received positive feedback from tourists. Before the cherry blossoms bloom this spring, the hotel is inviting visitors to experience the beauty of the mountains with the “Memories 99” special offer at just 199 NTD.

 

Lin Min-cheng noted that the weather in Lishan during January this year has been great – comfortable with a slight chill. Currently, some plum blossoms are in bloom, and on a lucky day, you might even catch a glimpse of snow on the opposite mountain. After mid-January, early spring mountain cherry blossoms and cherry blossoms will gradually bloom, making it the perfect season for people to plan a trip up the mountain. Military personnel, public servants, teachers, and seniors aged 60 and above can also enjoy additional accommodation discounts. To use this package, reservations must be made at least two days in advance, and information must be provided for insurance processing.
