The 3D Light Sculpture Spectacular in Zhuguang Taichung Makes a Classic Comeback and Runs for a Full Year

The 16-minute “Glorious Century” shown last year at the Taichung Prefectural Hall was truly classic. This year, the Cultural Affairs Bureau will continue screening it, with three shows every Saturday evening through the end of the year. Not only will it run all year without interruption, but it will also be shown on the second day of the Lunar New Year. A special 3–4 minute “Lunar New Year Greeting Edition” will be added at the end of the film, featuring content such as “Prosperity Brought by the Dragon, Success on Horseback,” “Firecrackers Ringing in the New Year and Bidding Farewell to the Old,” and “The God of Wealth Bringing Joy and Celebrating the Year.”

Additionally, the film content includes transforming the century-long development vision of the Taichung Prefectural Hall into dazzling light sculptures. In the future, different endings and blessings will be incorporated to match various festivals. The regular light sculpture screenings will become a signature feature of the Taichung Prefectural Hall, revitalizing this historic site for reuse and making it a must-visit attraction in Taichung.
