Yilan City
The first Jimmy Liao-themed square in Taiwan has attracted over 140,000 visitors since its opening last June. The Yilan County Government has added two new art installations inspired by Jimmy Liao’s picture books at Yilan Railway Station and DiDiDang Forest Square. In addition to the eye-catching flying train, these installations have transformed Yilan Railway Station into a “railway station in the forest.”

Keelung City
The Keelung Yellow Rubber Duck has been on display for nearly a month now. Despite a popping incident on New Year’s Eve, after just two days of emergency care and grooming, it made a scar-free comeback to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday with everyone.

Taipei City
Taipei Zoo’s giant panda cub “Yuanyuan” has recently stolen the spotlight, becoming the star attraction at the zoo. However, the zoo has also welcomed a new giraffe cub and a koala cub, whose adorable looks are no less charming than Yuanyuan’s. Netizens are taking the opportunity to bring their families to the zoo for an adorable little trip during the holiday. The zoo is closed on January 30 (New Year’s Eve), but in response to early openings for the panda house, it will open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM from January 31 (Lunar New Year’s Day) to February 4 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year).
