Free shuttle buses to Taipei Lantern Festival; visit Expo Park's Action Dream Hall and stand a chance to win a "Cotton" plush toy

The Action Dream Hall was originally scheduled to run from August last year through the end of August this year, with "dreams" as its curatorial theme. Through storytelling and various immersive experiences, combined with cutting-edge mobile device technology, each visitor uses the Hall’s exclusive smartphone — the "Dream Time Machine" — to navigate between exhibition zones. Leveraging indoor positioning, direction sensing, and augmented reality (AR) technologies, along with personalized photo features and burst-shot functions, visitors can document their entire journey. The "Dream Time Machine" also transforms into interactive props such as a dream magnifying glass or multimedia glow stick, tailored to each zone, helping visitors immerse themselves in the story. Finally, via NFC technology, each visitor’s unique adventure is transmitted to a floating display platform, showcasing their one-of-a-kind dream story.

 

Expo Park also hosts the "Lantern Festival Giveaway: Win a Cotton Toy!" event daily from now until February 16 (closed on February 10), from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the draw taking place at the Jimmy Liao Flower Wall in the Action Dream Hall courtyard. Visitors with same-day entry tickets to the Action Dream Hall can enter the free Cotton plush toy lucky draw once. Two authentic second-generation Cotton plush toys will be given away each day — one in the morning and one in the afternoon — while stocks last. Any unclaimed prizes will roll over to the next day. Furthermore, on February 14 from 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM, the special event "Sweet Romance at the Lantern Festival" will include a lantern riddle guessing game before each session, with correct answers earning participants a small Dream-themed gift. Couples visiting that day can also join the "A Thread of Fate Across Miles" activity: if the red ribbon connecting them remains unbroken from entry to exit, they’ll receive a limited-edition Dream Couple Gift Set at the exit.
