Starbucks Japan always releases various seasonal product lines, but the most anticipated are the annual spring “Cherry Blossom Season” collections. This year, in sync with Japan’s cherry blossom viewing season, Starbucks Japan has launched 34 cherry blossom-themed products all at once. From tumblers and mugs to coffee beans and gift cards, everything features brand-new, seasonally appropriate pastel pink cherry blossom designs. Even before the products hit the shelves, the announcement has already thrilled many fans.

As in previous years, Starbucks Japan’s cherry blossom cups are available in two series this time: the retro-inspired “Looking Back” and the modern “Looking Forward,” set to launch on February 15 and February 28 respectively. The “Looking Back” series features lace, paper-cut, and soap bubble patterns to create a vintage atmosphere, while the “Looking Forward” series adopts a colorful design style with white as the base, accented by vividly blooming flowers that convey a lively, hopeful vibe.

In addition to tumblers, insulated cups, and mugs, Starbucks has also released limited-edition cherry blossom designs for gift cards and coffee beans. The soft pink packaging has caught the eye of many fans, with some netizens even saying they can’t bear to use them.

The pricing for Starbucks Japan’s cherry blossom season products this year ranges from approximately 620 to 4,600 Japanese yen (tax excluded), and they are sold in limited quantities. Each customer is restricted to purchasing only five limited-edition items at a time. These items are also expected to become popular choices for overseas travelers seeking to buy as gifts.
