The "Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival" is the most representative large-scale tourism event in Penghu County, attracting numerous domestic and international visitors every year. The "2014 Penghu International Maritime Fireworks Festival," with the theme "Bloom Freely, Shine for the World," will be held grandly every Monday and Thursday evening from April 14 to June 19.

This year’s "2014 Penghu International Maritime Fireworks Festival" will launch from Magong City’s Guanyin Pavilion. The opening performance begins at 19:30, with other shows starting at 20:00 and fireworks displayed from 21:00 to 21:15 (opening fireworks run from 21:00 to 21:20), for a total of 20 shows.
