The second act of the Nine Clans Flower Festival: The Lavender Season Makes a Romantic Debut
Last updated 2026-09-24 — As the annual Nine Clans Cultural Village Cherry Blossom Festival draws to a close, it will soon be followed by the “Lavender Season,” which brings another romantic ambiance in soft purple hues. Over 100,000 Spanish lavender and salvia plants will transform the Shuishalian European Garden into a sea of purple blooms. The Nine Clans Cultural Village has also designated March 9th (the second Sunday in March) as the “Nine Clans Purple Valentine’s Day.” Couples and spouses who visit the park dressed in purple lover outfits on that day and participate in the “Purple Love Flash” event can enjoy an intimate 60-second photo moment at 3:09 PM and will receive a special Nine Clans lavender souvenir. If the purple outfit is purchased at the park on the day, visitors can present their receipt to receive an exclusive additional lavender-themed gift.

Additionally, during the Lavender Season, the “Purple Love March Music Concerts” will be held, featuring performances such as the “Taiwan Map” concert by the Taiwan Traditional Orchestra on March 9, the “Flower Love Ocarina Concert” by the Taiwan Ocarina Orchestra on the 16th, the OPO Vocal Choir on the 23rd, the “Floral Beauty, Musical Harmony, and Colorful Dance” performance by the Xinyue Chamber Ensemble on the 29th, and the Pegasus Creative String Quartet on April 6.
