From April 7 to October 26, SuperStar Virgo will operate 31 round trips between Taiwan and Hong Kong. Taiwanese travelers can choose the “cruise in, fly out” option (taking SuperStar Virgo from Taiwan to Hong Kong and then flying back to Taiwan on China Airlines) or the “fly in, cruise out” option (flying to Hong Kong in advance on China Airlines and returning to Taiwan on SuperStar Virgo). Departures are available from all over Taiwan — Keelung, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.
For this first sailing promotion, limited sailings from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung on April 7 and 9 offer an “one cruise, one flight” free independent travel package. For three days and two nights, prices start from NT$9,900 (tax excluded, original price NT$13,900), and for four days and three nights, prices start from NT$11,900 (tax excluded, original price NT$15,900). The package includes a one-way China Airlines ticket, one night’s accommodation on the cruise, and one or two nights at a Hong Kong hotel.
In addition, the first 88 travelers with the Virgo zodiac sign who sign up will receive a free one-way cabin stay on SuperStar Virgo for a Hong Kong–Taiwan (or Taiwan–Hong Kong) voyage. On their next trip to Hong Kong or return to Taiwan, they can enjoy a free ride on SuperStar Virgo and take advantage of the ship’s rich facilities and travel experiences.
Also, a four-day, three-night Sanya–Ha Long Bay itinerary departing from Hong Kong starts from just NT$18,800 (tax excluded, excluding Taiwan–Hong Kong airfare). To reward returning guests, Star Cruises is offering a “buy one, get one free” deal for the Hong Kong–Sanya–Ha Long Bay route. Simply provide proof of previous travel on SuperStar Virgo, such as a cruise card or photo (regardless of time or location). This offer is valid for registrations between March 6 and 18.

With a displacement of 75,338 tons, SuperStar Virgo is the flagship vessel of Star Cruises’ Asian fleet. It has 13 decks in total, staffed by over 1,300 professional crew members. The ship features 12 restaurants and bars, offering a mix of Eastern and Western cuisines, and has onboard a German executive chef to ensure culinary excellence. Star Cruises’ professional entertainment team and shows include the newly staged Atlantis Stone, Chinese Shaolin kung fu masters, an Alaskan violinist from the U.S., and an acrobatics troupe from Europe. The popular European illusionist Vincent Vignaud will star in the magic show Magic, combining music, dance, and stage effects. These spectacular performances are sure to leave travelers amazed and with unforgettable memories.
In Hong Kong, the Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Terminal where SuperStar Virgo docks is right next to Harbour City, Hong Kong’s largest shopping mall. Passengers can head straight to the mall for shopping after disembarking, or walk to attractions such as the former Marine Police Headquarters at 1881 Heritage, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Avenue of Stars, and the Star Ferry Pier. The area offers non-stop dining, entertainment, and fun, perfectly connected. Additionally, the Hong Kong Tourism Board especially recommends that cruise passengers try the Ding Ding tram, especially as this year marks its 110th anniversary. Riding the tram is a great way to soak in the charm of Hong Kong, including sampling authentic street food hidden in the alleys of Sheung Wan and Sai Wan, admiring the modern skyscrapers of Central and Admiralty, exploring trendy boutiques in old buildings in Wan Chai, having afternoon tea at the heritage pawnshop Wo Cheong Pawnshop, hunting for street snacks known only to locals in North Point, or enjoying dinner at a stylish open-air restaurant by the waterfront in Lei King Wan.
