Want to see a variety of adorable animals while enjoying flowers and plants? Visiting an eco-farm is the perfect choice to fulfill that desire. In Hsinchu, there are three eco-farms where you can not only meet super cute alpacas, as well as beautiful peacocks and flamingos, but also enjoy views of cypress trees, colorful flower fields, and orchid greenhouses. There's even a foot-soaking hot spring pool—perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon.

TaiKai Xingpu Smart Eco-Park

Opened on January 29th of this year, the TaiKai Xingpu Smart Eco-Park has attracted over 90,000 visitors so far. The park features a digital guide app that lets guests explore 12 hidden gems within Xingpu Garden, including the Sparrow Garden, Hot Spring Foot Bath Pavilion, Orchid Greenhouse, Camellia Exhibition, Blue Magpie Habitat, Shanshan Ruoshui Pond, Wangchan Laozu Temple, SA Hotel-style Apartments, and the Herb Garden. With its rich and diverse natural ecology, it offers close encounters with various animals and plants, making it a great educational destination for families.

Green World Eco-Farm

Located in Beibu, Hsinchu, Green World Eco-Farm spans over 70 hectares and is divided into six major ecological zones: Swan Lake, Adventure Area, Aquatic Plant Park, Bird Ecology Park, Butterfly Ecology Park, and Biodiversity Exploration Zone. It also includes 47 viewing areas and rest spots, such as the Macaw Zone, Cute Animals Zone, Animal Theater, Green Field Square, Amazon Rainforest Zone, and Hakka Ancient House.

Futian Garden Farm

Combining a farm, ranch, and restaurant, Futian Garden Farm is a multi-functional tourist attraction that has been operating for 14 years. Nestled between mountains with tall trees lining the landscape, the park features lush green meadows and ponds, and is home to horses, pigs, and poultry. A highlight is the vibrant flower field stretching tens of meters with tens of thousands of blooms, including herbs, lavender, sunflowers, and cosmos, offering different sceneries across seasons.
