In addition, the elegant and simple azaleas are in full bloom, while the bright orange-yellow iris is passionately heralding the arrival of summer. Thanks to the fine weather and beautiful floral conditions, the number of visitors to Alishan National Forest Recreation Area has surpassed one million ahead of schedule, setting a new record.

The Alishan National Forest Recreation Area under the management of the Chiayi Forest District Office of the Forestry Bureau reached one million visitors on the 22nd (yesterday), setting a record for the earliest time in its over 30-year history to hit the one-million-visitors mark within a single year. The Chiayi Forest District Office estimates that this year, due to suitable climate conditions and no major natural disasters, the beautiful blooming of various flowers in the area has attracted many visitors to come and admire them, leading to the early achievement of this historic milestone on April 22.
