The Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival, held since 2003, has now entered its 12th year. The event kicks off on 4/14 to attract large numbers of tourists and runs until 6/19—you can plan a wonderful trip to Magong, Penghu during this time.

The main venue for the fireworks festival is the Xiyin Rainbow Bridge Seawall at Guanyinting Park in Magong City. The event takes place from 7:30 PM to 9:20 PM, with fireworks launched between 9:00 PM and 9:20 PM. Both the activities and fireworks are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled due to bad weather. Fireworks will be launched on 4/14 (Monday), 4/17 (Thursday), 4/21 (Monday), 4/24 (Thursday), 4/28 (Monday), 5/1 (Thursday), 5/5 (Monday), 5/8 (Thursday), 5/12 (Monday), 5/15 (Thursday), 5/19 (Monday), 5/22 (Thursday), 5/26 (Monday), 5/29 (Thursday), 6/2 (Monday), 6/5 (Thursday), 6/9 (Monday), 6/12 (Thursday), 6/16 (Monday), 6/19 (Thursday)—a total of 22 regular shows. Additionally, there will be special performances on 5/10 (Saturday) and 5/24 (Saturday), bringing the total to 24 shows. The special shows run from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with fireworks from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM.
