To celebrate its second anniversary, Tokyo Skytree held a series of events from May 22 to June 1 under the theme “Enjoy! Tokyo Skytreetown® Thank You! 2nd Anniversary.” In addition to special lighting displays every day, there were also numerous related activities across Asakusa and Sumida, allowing visitors to join in the celebration of Tokyo Skytree’s second anniversary.

On the same day, visitors could also take photos with the tower’s station master and mascot. The entire Tokyo Skytree was also decorated with special 2nd anniversary arrangements, including unique embellishments on the 1st floor, 4th floor, main observation deck, and Tembo Galleria.
