Known as the "Pearl of the Orient," Hong Kong's most famous attraction is undoubtedly the night view of Victoria Harbour from the top of Victoria Peak. Victoria Harbour is one of the world's three great natural harbors, and both sides of the harbour are Hong Kong's busiest central business districts. At night, the skyscrapers on both sides light up with colorful lights, along with billboards on the buildings and the lighting from nearby residences, creating a dazzling and beautiful scene. It is also the only city to have been selected twice as one of the world's top three night views.

As night falls, visitors gather near the Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui, leaning on the railing by the shore, all waiting for the 8 p.m. "A Symphony of Lights" show. The light performance has five themes: Sunrise, Vitality, Heritage, Building Brilliance, and finally, Celebration. The buildings on both sides of the harbour shine brightly, appearing even more beautiful under the lights.
The skyscrapers along the harbour, synchronized with rhythmic music, emit vibrant and sparkling lights. For those few minutes, it feels as though the entire city is dancing in this spectacular audiovisual showcase. The stunning light show is unforgettable and has become one of the must-see attractions in Hong Kong. "A Symphony of Lights" is so grand that it was even listed in the Guinness World Records in 2004.
