Ningxia district's business area is using mascots to connect with consumers, aiming to promote the district’s brand through online marketing and physical events, creating new talking points after the success of the “Millennium Banquet.” To coincide with the peak summer consumption season, the “Bear Loves to Eat Delicious Food” point collection campaign started on August 8.From August 8 to August 31, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, consumers who spend over NT$50 at participating shops in the district or take a photo with the happy Ningxia Bear can receive a collectible sticker. Collect six stickers for a chance to win prizes such as Millennium Banquet vouchers, food discounts, and inflatable Ningxia Bears at one of the two service desks in the district.

The “Bear Loves to Eat Delicious Food” campaign has been running for three weeks, with an average of nearly 1,500 visitors collecting points and entering the draw each weekend. So far, eight people have won coveted Millennium Banquet vouchers, nearly 600 district gifts have been generously given away, and winners have all exclaimed how lucky they feel. There are still about 200 prizes left for the public to take home this week, including Millennium Banquet vouchers, food discount coupons, inflatable Ningxia Bears, and the Ningxia ALL YES special book — all still available. District merchants also constantly remind consumers to visit the service desks to join the draws. Additionally, to help more people get to know the Ningxia district mascot, the district has specially arranged for the Ningxia Bear to attend high-profile events in August, such as the Star Business District Certification Ceremony, FU Dadao, and the Taiwan Food Exhibition. The Ningxia Bear is truly booked solid. At the event venues, the public flocked to take cute photos with the adorable Ningxia Bear, and even more excitingly, the bear showed off some dance moves that drove the crowd wild. Those who haven’t seen the Ningxia Bear yet should seize the chance to “bear hug” and “dance off” with it during the event period in the Ningxia district.

Xu Qiongwen, chairman of the Ningxia district business association, expressed gratitude to the Taipei City Department of Commerce for assisting in mentoring the district’s marketing efforts and organizing activities such as “Bear Loves to Eat Delicious Food” and the “Taipei Shopping Festival” to give back to the many patrons who have long supported the Ningxia district. The related events have received an enthusiastic response from the public, benefiting many district merchants and bringing in more customers. The goal of the events is to ensure that the public can both eat and receive gifts, and the hope is for consumers to keep coming back to the Ningxia district. We sincerely invite everyone to join in the fun at the Ningxia district.
The “Bear Loves to Eat Delicious Food” campaign continues to heat up during the last weekend of August (August 29–31, Friday to Sunday), starting promptly at 6:00 PM. The Ningxia Bear will also appear hourly in the district to greet the public. Friends looking to create lasting summer memories should hurry up and make their way there.
