In recent years, Shandong has become quite popular among Taiwanese travelers, with its capital city, Jinan, being one of the must-visit cities in the province. This year, the Jinan Municipal Tourism Bureau has partnered with multiple airlines and travel agencies to promote travel packages, giving consumers the chance to win monthly prizes such as gift vouchers, plane tickets, plush toys, and accommodation coupons.

Zhang Tao, Deputy Inspector of the Jinan Municipal Tourism Bureau, stated that the “Go to Jinan Season 2” event held in Taiwan last year successfully attracted tens of thousands of travelers to Jinan in just over three months. To continue the momentum, this year’s “Go to Jinan Season 3” event will be held on the 27th at the outdoor plaza of Taipei’s Miramar Ferris Wheel Park, featuring a “Go to Jinan Family Party – Let’s All Go Together!” activity. The event includes searching for Jinan’s mascot “Quan Zai” and a photo-check-in challenge with prizes, aiming to spark interest among families to visit Jinan.

In addition to promoting the beauty of Jinan through outdoor events, Zhang Tao also announced at the 27th event that the Jinan Municipal Tourism Bureau has teamed up with EVA Air, Shandong Airlines, and 32 travel agencies under the PAK alliance, including Lion Travel, Kuo Kuang, and Southeast Travel, to jointly launch selected Jinan travel packages such as “China’s Heritage,” “Splendid Shandong,” and “Majestic Shandong.”Packages start from as low as 19,900 NT dollars. Consumers who purchase a package between September 27th and December 31st this year,and complete payment and departure during the promotional period, can enter a lucky draw by providing their airline ticket numbers. Monthly prizes include NT$50,000 gift vouchers, round-trip flights to Shandong, Jinan’s Quan Zai plush toys, and vouchers for well-known accommodations!
