The Crystal Chapel at Tainan’s Beimen Visitor Center is nearly completed and will officially open on October 18th. Taiwan’s first government-planned, developed, and promoted wedding photography-themed destination—"Beimen Wedding Beauty Land"—has not yet been fully completed but has already caused a sensation online and in various media, attracting enthusiastic discussions from many netizens. The Crystal Chapel has especially become the most eye-catching attraction for recent visitors.

The Crystal Chapel draws inspiration from the Sydney Opera House in Australia and the St. Laguna Chapel at Guam’s Sea Church, integrating these elements. Designed and constructed by commissioned designers, the project cost approximately NT$13 million and is nearing completion. The Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area is creating Taiwan’s largest wedding photography base, "Beimen Wedding Beauty Land." Currently in the first phase of construction, the area spans 7 hectares. Most of the scenic installations in the park, including the Love Ice Museum, Love Happiness Café, and the romantic Crystal Chapel, have been completed. Another highlight, the Salt Crystal Chapel, is also expected to be finished by mid-October. The management office stated that it will continue to develop the surrounding land to create more scenic spots, attracting couples and newlyweds to visit and take photos, thereby boosting tourism benefits.

To celebrate the completion of the "Crystal Chapel," the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Management Office has also collaborated with the Tainan City Government and the Tainan Wedding Photography Guild to organize a "Wedding Invitation Market" event on the afternoon of October 19th. Twenty couples will be invited to hold a group white wedding in the newly completed "Crystal Chapel." Prospective brides and grooms are welcome to register online to pledge their lives together.
