An Intellectual Stroll: A Michelin 3-Star Journey in Guanziling Hot Spring Town for Triple Delights!
As autumn arrives and temperatures gradually drop, the annual hot spring season is back Up again!At that time, it was already ranked alongside Yangmingshan, Beitou, and Sihchongxi as one of Taiwan’s “Four Great Hot Springs,” thanks to its high-quality mineral-rich waters.
The rare black muddy thermal spring is a distinctive feature that sets Guanziling apart from other hot spring areas. Every winter, it attracts numerous visitors who come here to “explore the mountain town, soak in warm springs, and savor delicious food”—a journey offering three kinds of enjoyment that keeps people coming back again and again.

And to allow visitors not only to join in the celebration in Guanziling but also to deeply understand the stories, culture, and historical charm of the area, from November 1 onwards, every Saturday from 2–4 pm and every Sunday from 9–11 am, Tainan is launching a free city tour as part of the Michelin 3-Star Journey—“Guanziling Hot Spring Town Stroll,” providing guided commentary services!
The “Guanziling Hot Spring Town Stroll” guided tour route starts from Lingding Park (Dacheng Hall), passing by Wu Jinhuai Square → Erjiewan Viewpoint → Hot Spring Valley Viewpoint → Xin Haohan Slope → Baoquan Outcrop → Xianyun Bridge → Hot Spring Old Street → Sky Ladder → Fire King God’s Sacred Spring (Outcrop) → Fire King God Temple → Haohan Slope, and finally loops back to Lingding Park (Dacheng Hall) as the end point of the stroll.
