Recently, at an art exhibition in Budapest, a grotesque giant installation appeared. The huge statue’s terrifying expression made it hard to ignore. This sculpture was created by Hungarian artist Ervin Hervé-Lóránth and is named “Feltépve,” meaning “emerging,” a name as striking as the statue’s impact. The giant has not only caused a sensation in Budapest but was also displayed on October 23 in Ulm, Germany. Since October 23 is Hungary’s National Day, choosing this date for the exhibition also represents Germany’s respect for Hungary.
