Organized by the Taiwan Association for Human Rights and various anti-forced relocation groups,the "Aviation City Land Art Festival" debuted on November 8th at the farmland on Baku Road in Luzhu City.It featured artworks created by local residents and volunteers, including an eight-meter-tall piece titled "Lost Little Bear," which garnered significant attention as it vied for spotlight with Florentijn Hofman’s Moon Rabbit. Through installations collaboratively crafted by residents, this served as an alternative form of protest, satirizing the Taoyuan Land Art Festival held by the government in September and voicing dissatisfaction over the forced land expropriations carried out by the Taoyuan government to advance the Aviation City project—displacing residents from their homes.

In addition to the eye-catching"Lost Little Bear,"the Aviation City Land Art Festival also includes"The Scarecrow's Counterattack"in Suiwei area of Taoyuan County, Hongzhu Village,"Life and Memories of the Hometown"in San Kuai Cuo. Spanning three locations, the festival is expected to run for nine days, with residents pooling together NT$200,000 to create the displays themselves. The event will continue until the 16th. Organizers have also arranged activities such as outdoor games, music festivals, ironworks cinemas, wetland bird-watching, and bicycle tours, welcoming everyone to join in the fun.
