Taiwan’s Good Bus Routes 88 (Anping Line) and 99 (Taijiang Line) have become the top bus choices for backpackers traveling to Tainan.This year, they continue to offer the Tainan 8899 one-day transportation pass, travel package tickets along with high-speed rail combo tickets, USB charging ports on the bus, and Taiwan’s first-ever 4G Wi-Fi service on buses.Now, as Christmas approaches with its warm and cozy vibes, they’ve also partnered with local businesses to launch the Classic Teddy Bear Loves Tainan themed bus, ensuring travelers feel Tainan’s warm and happy travel atmosphere the moment they step on board—so much so they won’t want to leave!

The Tourism Bureau stated that the two Classic Teddy Bear Loves Tainan themed buses—one on Route 88 (Anping Line) and one on Route 99 (Taijiang Line)—are launched in collaboration with local business Classic Teddy to jointly promote Tainan tourism. These two buses are decorated according to their route themes, featuring Tainan’s major historic sites and the green tunnel of Sicao, allowing passengers to instantly immerse themselves in the ambiance of Tainan’s old city and its mangrove green tunnels. Additionally, the bus handles are creatively adorned with cute versions of the Sword Lion, Black-faced Spoonbill, and Fiddler Crab, which sway as the bus moves, keeping even standing passengers entertained.

Moreover, in line with the “Bear Happiness” theme, every seat cover features adorable Classic Teddy Bear couples who love Tainan, carrying cameras and accompanying everyone on their Tainan adventure.The most eye-catching feature on the buses is the presence of one large and two small Classic Teddy Bears seated inside each of the two themed buses.Especially the 100-centimeter-tall large Classic Teddy Bear, with its innocent and adorable puppy-dog eyes, accompanies passengers on the bus ride, causing many riders to exclaim in surprise and can’t help but take photos. Many even say how cute it is and wish they could take it home!

In addition to the two Classic Teddy Bear Loves Tainan themed buses, the remaining 13 Taiwan Good Buses on Routes 8899 are also decorated with seat covers featuring Tainan-inspired designs. The QR codes on the seat covers link directly to the “Travel Tainan” app, allowing passengers to easily search for travel information using the bus’s 4G Wi-Fi.
