To commemorate the upcoming 125th anniversary of Van Gogh’s death, Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde created a stunning bike path named Van Gogh-Roosegaarde. Inspired by Van Gogh’s famous painting “The Starry Night,” the artist embedded over 50,000 glowing stones on the path. After absorbing sunlight during the day, the stones recreate the beauty of the starry sky at night. The designer also thoughtfully installed LED lighting to ensure visibility on cloudy nights when the stones might not absorb enough light.
