Universal Studios Japan Celebrates Christmas in a Magical Way with the World’s Tallest Lighted Christmas Tree

Voted as the top destination for "the Christmas you most want to spend with your loved ones," Universal Studios Japan has launched its 54-day holiday celebration event, “Universal Wonderland Christmas.” In addition to seeingthe “World’s Tallest Lighted Christmas Tree”standing tall within the park, visitors can also enjoythe “Angel’s Miracle II The Song of an Angel”musical performance at night; while during the day, the“Santa’s Toy March”Christmas parade is full of fun and excitement too！

To share the festive Christmas spirit, Universal Studios Japan has already decorated the park with dazzling lights and a dreamy atmosphere. Christmas songs filled with joy can be heard everywhere, and free face painting is offered along the streets. The drinks, desserts, and meals sold in the park also feature Christmas-themed elements, all looking adorable and hard to resist.

One of the most eye-catching highlights is undoubtedly the 36-meter-tall “World’s Tallest Lighted Christmas Tree.” This tree has been certified by the Guinness World Records for three consecutive years as the artificial Christmas tree with the most lights in the world. Towering within the park, its lights shine like a starry sky. This year, it has been adorned with gold and red bows, symbolizing the bond between loved ones, and has become the most captivating icon of this year’s “Universal Wonderland Christmas.”

During the December event period, visitors can enjoy the “Angel’s Miracle II The Song of an Angel” show (two performances per day, each lasting 20 minutes) on weekends and public holidays next to the Christmas tree. This large-scale musical combines light projection and live performances, showcasing church stained glass windows, the Manhattan skyline, and snowflakes flying in the winter air of New York. The grand finale features a spectacular fireworks display, creating a powerful and heartwarming love story that transports audiences to a Christmas-filled European or American atmosphere.
