In the Taipei area, if you want to see Christmas trees, Xinyi District — where department stores abound — is your top destination. All the major department stores have put up their own unique Christmas trees, vying for attention as the most eye-catching highlights of the festive season. Below, we’ve gathered eight Christmas tree displays in Xinyi District, hoping to help visitors create the most beautiful Christmas memories.

 

● Taipei 101
This year’s Taipei 101 Christmas tree is located on the fourth floor. The entire tree stands about three stories tall, featuring a color scheme of Christmas gold and silver, along with numerous gift boxes and the 101 logo.

● Taipei 101Financial Building
The Christmas tree inside Taipei 101 is a massive 12.5-meter-tall structure. It was crafted using 37,112 recycled PET bottles collected over two months from the building, which were woven into 3,290 yards of Da Ai fabric and then folded into 122,000 eco-friendly flowers. This year’s design also includes handmade petals made from 2,700 PET bottle bases, adorned with internal LED lights that make the tree sparkle like a snowfall.
