New attraction near the Airport MRT’s Kengkou Station: A rustic interactive mural village perfect for photos and up-close airplane views

The Taoyuan Airport MRT opened for public trial rides on the 16th, revealing that Taoyuan has many more fun attractions waiting to be discovered. Take the interactive mural village at A11 Kengkou Station, for example — it’s just a 10-minute walk from the station. This colorful mural village is nestled in a simple rural community, and you can even look up to watch planes take off and land up close, making it ideal for a day out in nature.

Exiting from A11 Kengkou Station, you’ll enjoy views of the simple rural scenery along the way, with the vibrant and playful mural village not far ahead. The Kengkou Community Mural Village is divided into three main areas, covering approximately 1,000 ping. The mural area stretches from the bustling Chengsheng Temple all the way to the intersection of Haishan Road and Kengguo Road, with over 30 hectares of residential and factory low walls covered in colorful graffiti.

The mural village is themed around the rural charm of the 1950s and 60s. The interactive and fun murals bring farm life vividly to life before visitors’ eyes. On a nice day perfect for a stroll, head to Kengkou Station to snap photos, watch planes, and enjoy a relaxing time.
